Not in my experience due to levo, but this can be a symptom of low B12. Please have your B12 levels checked, if serum B12, should be above 500, the higher the better.as well as iron, ferritin, folate and Vit D. Post results plus ranges here, do not accept GP saying "normal". You are entitled to be given a copy of your blood results, just ask.

Agree with nostoneunturned.

A sore tongue can simply be caused by insufficient thyroid hormone. In that case, getting an adequate dose of thyroid hormone should resolve the problem.
