Hi All

Many people may not realise that this online community is moderated and run by the charity Thyroid UK.

As well as this group, we have an extensive website, an Information Pack and also a Membership system. www.thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/fo...

Members of Thyroid UK receive:

• A quarterly magazine, Harmony

• Regular e-newsletters

• Free access to online mini webinars on a variety of thyroid related topics

• Discounts for Nutricentre and Vitabiotics

• A membership card

• First refusal of tickets for conferences and seminars

• Advance notification of full length educational online webinars (small fee for attendance)

We also have plans to introduce a 'Members Only' section to the website, this would include online access to back issues of Harmony and recordings of previous webinars.

Issue 2 of Harmony is currently at the printers and includes articles on B12 Deficiency & Pernicious Anaemia and Weight Loss, as well as news from the thyroid world and book reviews etc

Just the price! :-) Full membership if you are working, reduced if you are not.

Hi Louise, I sent off an application form with my cheque a little while ago (sorry foggy brain doesnt allow me to remember exactly when!) and I havent heard anything. Is there someway of checking please. Thank you. Sheila Moorcroft

Hi Louise, I really want to be a member but havn't got a printer for my iPad. I'm a bit ignorant technically but is there another way to send the form? All the best

Hi Louise, I joined and received my membership pack last week and am learning so much from the reading material, thanks so much.

I couldn't find any information in the pack about how to use the discount for nutricentre though and would like to order some supplements.

I'm glad to supoort a charity that's helping so many people

not really replying to this query louie. i cant seem to submit a question, type it all out but when i press the submit button nothing happens, my question is. went to gp last week and asked for T3 test replied they dont test T3. could i have asked to have it done privately, or will hospital test this when my appointment eventually comes through regards brenda

Hi Brenda

If you are using a pc or laptop, it should be on the right hand side. If you are on a phone or a small screen tablet then you can't see it.

You can send a message instead to Vinay at HU Tech.
