Blogging with Links

Hi All

Just a small request...

If you are going to post a blog with a link, please supply a brief explanation of what is on the other end of the link.

This will help people to decide if they would be interested in the information (or not). It may also increase the activity on your blog as we have found people respond better to blogs and Qs with more information in them.

Many spam detectors will automatically treat any email which has links only as spam. Typically that means it goes into people's junk email folders, but it might not reach people at all.

And the HU alert for posts which only contain a link look pretty much like that.

Certainly happens with my email!

So, if you want anyone to be able to follow links you post, please add some text to the posts.
